Dorint Hotel Esplanade Jena

Appreciated the standard king room with a beautiful view, felt like we where home. The service was absolutely good.

Its location is great, adjacent to many restaurants and a Japenese garden, relaxing area. There's The Gorgeous Kitchen located around 4-6 minutes away by foot from the hotel, recommend to try food there.

Spacious room with a clean and good size bathroom. Very convenient for the city. Efficient staff

Nothing major. A kettle in the room would have been good. The aircon was a bit noisy at night. The breakfast was superb but notthe sort of meal you want every morning - a smaller less expensive version would have been welcome.

The hotel is situated in the centrum of the city. The personnel of the hotel is perfect, rooms are very comfortable.

The hotel is in an ideal city centre location. It is light, airy, aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and the reception staff speak excellent English.

The air-conditioning is centrally managed. While requests for changes in room temperature could be (and were) implemented via the reception, we missed the lack of control actually in the room - for example in the middle of the night.

Helpful staff and very good location.

Room wasn't 100% clean and in the toilet had not been properly cleaned, if you know what I mean. Please don't ask me for a description, you can imagine. This would have been acceptable in a cheap motel, but definetely not in a 4 star hotel!

Perfect location, central.

Parking is too expensive. There are many alternatives nearby costing much less. The same is valid for the breakfast, too expensive while is possible to eat much cheaper in the several bakeries or restaurants around the hotel.

I liked the lift and the hotel layout.

Access to the shopping mall through the dining room should not be restricted for residents.

My kids wished there were more family activities available.

It was a strong match for a trip in Jena with very good value for money. The breakfast selection was excellent, and the staff were friendly. Consider visiting during the holiday period when it's quieter.

The dorint hotel was a great choice for our family. The room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for parents and kids. The breakfast spread was delicious with many options! A special shoutout to the friendly receptionist who gave us detailed directions to a local spot that we really enjoyed. The spa area added a lovely touch to our stay.

The reception gal was super helpful-switched me to a nicer room quickly. Loved the cozy bar area for some drinks. It's a solid spot, but the bathrooms need a little work. Perfect for a chill trip.

The location is perfect for exploring local attractions. Enjoyed my spacious room with a nice view over the city center. Loved the modern amenities, especially the heated bathroom floors. The proximity to shopping is a major plus as well! Plus, the nearby wellness area was a nice touch for some relaxation.

Every morning, I was greeted with a breakfast spread that's nothing short of a foodie's dream! The fine quality of the fresh ingredients and variety had me excited to wake up each day. Plus, my spacious room offered a good city view.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, with an early check-in option that allowed us to freshen up before exploring the area and a well-equipped fitness center to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
